Soooo gutted. Last day of Eastchester store being opened. I used a gift card today to buy a fur jacket to commemorate how much shopping here meant. Work wardrobes, prom dresses for my daughter, ties for my son, perfume and cologne during Charity Days. I even donated 16 inches of hair during one of those events. When my daughter got married we got her shoes and bag, mine and my mom's gowns. Coats and shoes were always worth the sales. My only Radley and Coach handbage were purchased here and my love for Patricia Nash bags developed here. Shopping for gifts that were expensive but were on sale was my expertise. It was also the first credit card I got after a financially devastating divorce. Shopping online will NEVER replace the experience of being in a store. I will wear my last treasure with a smile but sadness in my heart. Thank you to all the employees who have helped us all.

The lord and Taylor location in Westchester NY is one of the stores that is still open. They have amazing sales right now 60%-80% off with Buy one get one free deals because they are going out of business. They will be open until the end of February 2021 so hurry and go in to get the things you need before their finals days! The staff is great and follow Covid-19 guidelines and polices. The store is just a few miles from manhattan and the Bronx areas. Come in a support the oldest retail store before its gone! Hurry!

I was at this lord and taylor store 1/6/2021 . I decided to get a size 10m Eileen fisher Gatwick sling back shoe instead of the size 11. . I normally wear a size 10 m.. When I arrived home and tried the shoes on I had made my mind up to got back to Scarsdale.N.y. and exchange it for a size 11m on 1/7/2021. Much to my surprise when I took my receipt out of my wallet I read no refund and no return on purchases made IN STORE. So this clearance store purchase cleared me of$81.41. That is another reason why there are know lines and the staff is soooooo nice. I used my debit card .I am a senior citizen, I guess I am going to get some corns and a lord and taylor bunion.

Terrible customer service. Purchased a bathing suit and the cashier left the sensor on it. Threw away my receipt as its final sale and took it back and they wouldn't remove the sensor without the receipt. This store is closing and I have to try and get my statement to go back for the to take off the sensor. Spoke to a manager and no use???????????? was told they could check by looking at my card.

Ii is with sadness to hear that the oldest department store in our country is closing its doors forevermore. Unfortunately, many of our favorite department stores will soon suffer the same fate. Small businesses and companies, the back- bone of our country, crushed into bankruptcy unnecessarily because of the actions of incompetent Do-Nothing establishment politicians engaged in seditious egregious abuse of power against all Americans forcing our country to stay closed down plunging our economy into darkness. With that said, the closing of this long standing fashionable store has all its merchandise discounted at up to 80% off. As always the staff is personable and helpful, the store is orderly and well stocked, the merchandise and fashions are trendy and well made. All available now through the holiday season for a fraction of the cost. If there is something to be gained here, this is a shopping opportunity that shouldn't be missed. There is something special for everyone on your Christmas List. Afterall, tis the season to be merry!

I bought brand new Ugg shoes which they didn't have at the store but the employee offered to order it online and they're shipped to my home. These pair of shoes looked brand new but had a tremendous odor???? I wanted to return them to Lord and Taylor. Unfortunately, I was told they don't take merchandise back because they're going out of business. I don't think this is fair to the customer who's buying it out of good faith and trusting them. Horrible! It is their closing sale and the place is understaffed. I literally stood at the service desk (checkout line) for an hour when the cashier told us that she worked beyond her time limits and closed the cashier's till. She was not replaced and the lines at all other desks were long. So we were forced to dump our intended purchase and leave the store empty-handed.

Lord and Taylor used to be my "go to" place for petite clothes, accessories, etc. The petite department, while at least they have one, is tiny, and most of the clothing of very poor quality. Add to that the olfactory assault from the perfume department at the main entrance, and my visiting rate will continue to decline.

It is a spectacular store with a great selection of clothing and accessories for men. My family also shops here all the time is well in the ladies sections. I get my shoes here, jeans and nice polo shirts. It's conveniently located in Eastchester, New York on Route 22 and there is free parking. The help is always fantastic. Over the years, I've purchased my great selection of underwear, perfumes and colognes. It has a pleasant atmosphere and it's very expansive. Frankly, it's a great store to shop in. Give it a try once or more. SPRING SALES! Everyone is shopping this season. We love it. Pack with people!

My 77yr old mom had her Ferragamo wallet stolen directly out of her bag while shopping and nothing was done. When we reported it to local police a woman was there reporting the exact same crime except hers was Vuitton. The store did nothing to compensate whatsoever. I feel like this is one of the last department stores around. Very friendly, especially at the fragrance counters, very attentive and informative. The same when we were looking for undergarments, the personnel tried finding pieces and they were all outgoing. These days, that type of service is hard to find so I feel Lord & Taylor must train their employees to be helpful to their customers. This is upscale and one would feel that great service would come with the price, but I have been to other upscale dept stores where they could use the same strategy. I was impressed with the customer service.

Although I find that many the brand's that they carry are not those that I wear or use the ones that do match my taste are lower priced than any other store in Westchester County. And when they have a sale (they do run many) the blow the competition out of the water. BTW, my wife tells me that ladies shoes and cosmetics are a REAL bargain during their special sales. Plus parking is free and plentiful.

I have been to this store maybe 300 times in my lifetime. It's very disheartening to know that one employee ruined what I normally view as one of my favorite stores. Make a very long story short, the sales woman, Rabab, was helping me check out. I asked her to check a price of a bag and she mistakingly told me the price for something else. I called over the manager who was very kind and honored the price I was originally told. Rabab was very short and angry after the manager left and told me she had to go "to another register" to take off the sensor to the bag I purchased. I did not double to check to see if she removed it and when I got home today (I live 50 minutes away) I found that THE SENSOR IS STILL ON. I'm assuming this was her way of getting back at me for calling the manager. Extremely unprofessional... I will now have to drive nearly an hour back and forth to get it removed, so any money I saved was worthless. PS if anyone takes the time to read this, her associate number is 317163. PPS Rabab also told me she emailed me the receipt by accident (instead of printing it) so once again, probably part of her master plan to make things more complicated than it had to be. THANKS RABAB!

With the opening of the Westchester Mall Bloomingdale's has become more or less redundant. The store comes up short insofar as sales and benefits offered, plus what really sucks is their customer service - arrogant, disinterested, uninformed personnel.

Not a place to shop for shoes on a holiday weekend. I made the mistake of buying shoes pre-sale, went into store to pick up today, mistake number two. There were only two registers open for checkout, one register froze, the other register was tied up. The line to checkout grew as I stood there waiting 15 minutes to get shoes I had already paid for three days before prior. Finally register opened up, alas now there was no associate to be found to ring up sales or assist. A customer who was not in line was checked out by a sales associate because she was her customer. Really disappointed in service received today, no excuses for the way management handled shoe department, time to reassess the way business is conducted.

As a last minute quick stop at this location, i found it quick and easy to find the perfect birthday gift. I owe this great experience to a worker Florentina Prelvukaj who i was approched by in order to help me choose and inform me on the latest trended perfumes. The coworker whos name i was not able to locate was also a great help on retrieving a case for my new sunglasses i also purchased that day. Being able to get in and out of the store as quickly and happily as i could is because of the great customer service that was provided for me. I will definitely be returning again shortly!

The customer service here is horrible. All of the cashiers ignored me or told me to go to another cash register. Alex (I think that was her name) was the only good employee- she was kind and understanding and helpful. The rest were either rude and snarky or trying to get me to sign up for a Lord and Taylor credit card. Oh, by the way, if I ask an associate a question I am expecting some form of an answer even if they’re unsure and it’s a shallow answer- don’t ignore what I said and tell me I should sign up for a credit card. Loretta and her friends were extremely rude and snarky and she thought it was fine to talk about me to her dear friend and another customer when I was right in front of her, telling them that I was bothering her and was wrong about something and how I was being annoying because I pointed out that she had told me one thing when it was really another. She was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful- if you say “current selling price” I’m ecpecting exactly that don’t say “current selling price” and then realize it’s “lowest selling price within the past 6 months” and blame it on me. The nerve she has to blame a customer for a mistake she made. Now, the store itself is extremely confusing, cashiers are scattered but hidden among clothing racks. The clothing is extremely overpriced- the only quality brands are Polo Ralph Lauren, Lauren Ralph Lauren, and Calvin Klein- but they’re still more expensive than many other places. A lot of low quality products and brands (ex. Ivanka Trump). The “sale” sections are A MESS. The beauty “department” (there’s no separation between the departments except the items themselves) is narrow and confusing. The sales floor is overcrowded because of bad floor planning. Most off the time I have great experience in this store but few days ago I was in make up section and looking for Dior lip balm , I found it , asked few questions about the price and ... . waiting for Sales lady to come closer so I could order it , but she just ignored me and was busy with checking cashier machin , I was waiting there for few minutes waiting for her , but I was ignored and finally I left the store , I prefer to spend money in a store which gives value to customers .

Store Ok, but avoid spa based on our experience. If I were reviewing the store, 4 stars would be the rating. But we gave a gift of a spa certificate. Turns out it can only be used two days a week and has a three month expiry (probably in violation of County law). The staff who explaining this to the gift recipient was rude. There is no manager available at the spa, standard customer service, or in upper level executive offices to address the issue.

I have been a long standing customer, earning a premier status and spending 1000s at the store, making it pretty much the only store I shop in. Most salespeople are great, however I had several very disappointing and rather disturbing experiences with a saleswoman Arlene who works in the Vince, Diane Von Furstenberg women's clothing area. The first time I had an experience with her when I wanted to adjust a price of the DVF skirt I bought a couple of days earlier where she was lecturing me pretty much non stop any time I would say any word to her. Later in the day, I wanted to buy something else from the same department and I was being nice, greeted her, she literally ignored me and made faces. When I came back to the store a couple of days later yet again (all around Christmas time and in Christmas Spirit), I ran into her again, smiled and greeted her (as she is an old woman, we all have our bad days and I don't believe in being rude to people... ) not only she did not reply to me, she actually followed me to another register to become very confrontational and tell me that I am not allowed to be adjusting prices (on items I just bought 2 days earlier) and actually making a scene. When I wanted to talk to her supervisor, she would not tell me her name nor supervisor's name. I later found out her supervisor's name is Lisa.. I do not wish to waste more time or energy on her and it difficult to put into words how unpleasant, confrontational, rude and hateful she is. She should never be at a customer facing job. I visit Lord and Taylor to relax from my own stressful job and it's generally a very pleasant experience. However, the last two trips actually caused me much stress and grief, making me want to leave the store and not wanting to come back as she seems to be the only woman working in the high end designer section where I shop and I don't want to deal with her attitude and moods. There are plenty of other options as to where I can shop.

The customer service there is HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!! I will never shop there again ! I went there on 11/14/17 to purchase a dress. When o went to checkouty mother asked the cashier about the company’s defect policy, she ignored her completely and begins to ring up the dress. She scans a coupon and takes off the sensor, I thought the dress said another price so I asked her about the price and she told me. I asked her about possibly placing it in layaway due to the fact that I couldn’t access my phone at the moment to transfer money. Her response was 2 Days ! I’m like, 2 days for layaway, she says you can place it on hold for two days . I said that’s not what I asked . So as I’m speaking to my mother she starts canceling the transaction and putting the dress away. I tell her I’ll place it on hold. She takes my info and walks away, when she returned I asked her do we get a receipt or anything she says no you just come back and so we walk away she says 2 days ! Not a goodnight thank you coming Nothing. We informed asked another worker to get an Manager and while the manager is speaking with us she runs to tell the cashier we’re making an complaint. It’s now 11/16/17 and I could not make it to the store, I called to extend my hold for the next day and after waiting on hold for 15 minutes someone picks up the phone and was extremely rude to me. NEVER AGAIN !

Kathy has been my hairstylist since my first appointment at the salon in 2001. She’s the best! She made me love my wavy/curly hair with her great cuts and her coloring skills are top-notch. I’ve gotten highlights, low lights, different color glazes and most of all root touch-ups for my grays. She’s also done my hair for my wedding reception and for all the weddings I’ve been involved in and as a guest. My hair always looks amazing when she does it. I want to mention that associate Mannie Thomas is really an Excellent Associate. All associates should follow her lead in customer service. This comment is late in coming, but I could not fail to note it none the less. Several weeks ago I was in the store with several items in my hands to try on. I was having a bit of trouble keeping everything together and dropped an item a couple of times on my way across the floor to a dressing room. I passed at least 4 employees standing around having their own personal conversations... at least 2 of them looked right at me and turned away as I was picking up an item I had dropped. Not one person offered to assist me; not one asked if I wanted to check out, go to a dressing room, find something.... nothing, no contact at all. I was just steps from the dressing room thinking that the store help was really pretty useless when Mannie Thomas came over to me and sweetly said, "Let me help you...do you need a dressing room? I can put that in there for you." I don't even know where she came from, I did not see her on my way there. Now THAT is what I expect from the sales associates, not feeling like I was being looked over or like I might interrupt a personal chat about the weekend. Mannie Thomas was absolutely delightful, helpful, and very professional. She also of course asked what else she could do...did I need a size, help finding anything else, etc, and I checked out with her. I hope this reaches the management of Lord and Taylors in Eastchester because Mannie deserves recognition, and many others need some training.

I visited this salon for a facial during spa week 2017. In short I probably would never return. To begin I made an appointment for a Friday and was given the first time slot. But when I arrived for my appointment I found the store itself was closed and no one was answering the salon phone number. I had to call the salon several times before someone answered the phone and attempted to tell me how I could actually enter. The receptionist tells me that I should use the employee entrance as if I was an employee who would know where that entrance was. To make things worse it began to rain during my search for this entrance. Eventually the actual facial technician met me and showed me the way in. To make things worse I was not even given the full time for my facial. My technician was great but she was rushed to finish my facial in the time that was left. I insisted on speaking with the manager onsite but she wasn't much help and only told me what I already knew. She explained that the person who initially made my appointment should have instructed me on how to access their salon while the store was closed. This explanation was too little to late and really wasn't helpful. I was inconvenienced in everyway and was not even allowed my full time for my facial as if it was my fault their staff neglected to instruct me correctly. This salon experience was everything but relaxing or convenient.

Drove all the way to this store since I remember they had a wide variety of handbags which I was trying to purchase for my mom for Mother's Day. This store has changed in so many ways. Not a wide selection of handbags. They no longer sell Dooney and Bourke which is my favorite. The staff was very unfriendly and did not want to be there. One associate was standing by the register talking on her cell phone. No one offered to help me and when I did ask for help, they couldn't. Waste of time and gas.

The mens shoe section register has the unfriendliest employees who do not know the meaning of customer service. They told me to go to a different register when I wanted to purchase my husband sweatpants and would not ring me up after I waited patiently in line. So they basically did not want to take my money. I had (right before that) a very nice experience in the Make up section and made a great purchase right before with a nice woman. But because of these 2 individuals at the mens "shoe" section, whose register was right near the pants I grabbed by the way, that did not want to help me on Sunday April 30th around 2:15 pm, I will NEVER go back to this store again. And I have shopped there for 15 years - but things change and as consumers we have so many choices so my choice after this experience, is to never shop there again. I recommend you choose a different store as well as this one clearly has management and training issues. For all of the hard working employees that do still work there, your store manager needs to help you because all of the unfriendly ones are ruining it for you. I unfortunately did not have a chance to speak to a manager that day because I had obligations at a certain time and had to leave and did not want to add any more frustration and stress to the day. Something that was supposed to be a nice experience - a simple gift for my husband of something I know he needed, turned into an extremely frustrating unpleasant experience that I will never forget.

My hairdresser at the Spa, Kathy is wonderful! She is experienced and very pleasant. My hairdresser is Kathy Sinkkonen and I have been going to her for almost 10 years. She is wonderful and I would never go to anyone else. She does great color, keratin, and cuts. I went to this location and bought 100+ dollar dress pants. They were to be tailored and sent to my house. it's been 3 weeks and still haven't received my pants after calling numerous times i've been told they were extremely busy and would continuously hang up the phone on me. Then when i would call back and ask for a supervisor or Manager they would hang up once again. i understand it holiday season but this is not a way to treat customers that spent their money. It's frustrating because i need the pants for next week and their employees aren't being much of help
